Welcome to Rural Ranges. The terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to Rural Ranges. Rural Ranges operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services, in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience (the "Services"). Rural Ranges is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.

The terms and conditions below, together with any policies referred to within them (these "Terms of Service" or "Terms"), describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully, since they include important information about your legal rights and cover areas such as warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability.

By visiting, interacting with or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service or our Privacy Policy, you should not use or access our Services. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under English law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Access and Account

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you confirm that you are at least eighteen years of age, or that you have the consent of a parent or guardian to use the Services. You also confirm that you have given us your consent for any minor dependants to use the Services on devices that you own, purchase or manage.

To use the Services, including browsing our online store or purchasing any of the products or services we offer, you may be asked to provide certain information, such as your email address, billing details, payment details and shipping information. You confirm that all information you provide is correct, current and complete. You also confirm that you have all rights necessary to provide this information.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity on your account. You may not transfer, sell, assign or licence your account to any other person.

Our Products

We make every effort to provide an accurate representation of our products and services in our online store. However, please note that colours or product appearance may differ from how they appear on your screen, depending on the device you use to access the store and your device settings.

We do not guarantee that the appearance or quality of any products or services purchased by you will meet your expectations or match exactly how they are depicted in our online store. This does not affect your right to a refund, repair or replacement under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if goods received are not as described, of satisfactory quality or fit for purpose; please see our Returns and Refund Policy for how this works in practice.

All product descriptions are subject to change at any time without notice, at our discretion. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time and may limit the quantities of any products that we offer to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction, on a case-by-case basis.

Orders

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. Rural Ranges reserves the right to accept or decline your order at its discretion. Your order is not accepted until Rural Ranges confirms acceptance. We must also receive and process your payment before an order is accepted. Please review your order carefully before submitting it, since Rural Ranges may be unable to accommodate cancellation requests once an order has been accepted. If we do not accept, need to change or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you using the email address, billing address or phone number provided when the order was placed.

If you change your mind about a purchase, our Returns and Refund Policy gives you 30 days from receipt to return most items for an exchange or refund, which is more generous than the 14 day statutory minimum under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Certain items, such as those made to order or personalised, may be excluded from this right, as explained in that policy. If an item arrives faulty, damaged or different from what you ordered, you have separate rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which are also set out in our Returns and Refund Policy.

Your purchases are subject to return or exchange in accordance with our Returns and Refund Policy and your statutory rights. You confirm that your purchases are for your own personal or household use and not for commercial resale or export, unless otherwise agreed with us in writing.

Prices and Billing

Prices, discounts and promotions are subject to change without notice. The price charged for a product or service will be the price in effect at the time the order is placed. This price will be confirmed in your order confirmation email. Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT at the prevailing rate where applicable. Unless otherwise stated, posted prices do not include shipping, handling or any customs or import charges that may apply; please see our Shipping Policy for our current delivery charges.

Prices shown in our online store may differ from prices offered in physical premises or in other stores operated by third parties. We may run promotions from time to time that affect pricing and that are governed by their own terms; where these conflict with these Terms, the promotion terms will apply.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase, payment and account information for all purchases and to update this information promptly, including your email address and payment details, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

You confirm that the payment information you provide is true, correct and complete, that you are authorised to use the payment method provided, that charges incurred by you will be honoured by your card provider or payment service and that you will pay the charges incurred at the posted prices, including shipping and handling and any applicable taxes.

Shipping and Delivery

We aim to process and dispatch orders promptly, and our delivery timescales are estimates rather than guarantees. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing or events outside our reasonable control, although we will let you know as soon as we can if we expect a significant delay. Please see our Shipping Policy for full details of our processing times, delivery charges and the countries we currently deliver to.

Where you order from outside the United Kingdom, your order may be subject to import duties or taxes charged by the destination country once it arrives. These charges are separate from our delivery charge and are your responsibility; we recommend checking with your local customs office before placing an order from outside the UK.

Where you are buying as a consumer, the goods remain our responsibility and the risk of loss or damage remains with us until they are delivered into your possession, or into the possession of someone you have nominated to receive them on your behalf, in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015. This does not apply where you have arranged your own carrier to collect or deliver the goods, in which case responsibility passes to you once the goods are handed to that carrier.

Intellectual Property

Our Services, including all trademarks, brands, text, displays, images, graphics, product reviews, video and audio, together with their design, selection and arrangement, are owned by Rural Ranges, our affiliates or our licensors and are protected by UK and international copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.

These Terms permit you to use the Services for your own personal, non-commercial use only. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store or transmit any material from the Services without our prior written consent. Except as expressly set out in these Terms, nothing here grants you any licence or other rights under any patent, trademark, copyright or other intellectual property belonging to Rural Ranges, Shopify or any third party. Unauthorised use of the Services may infringe UK intellectual property law. All rights not expressly granted here are reserved by Rural Ranges.

Rural Ranges' names, logos, product and service names, designs and slogans are trademarks of Rural Ranges or our affiliates or licensors and must not be used without our prior written permission. Shopify's name, logo, product and service names, designs and slogans are trademarks of Shopify. All other names, logos, product and service names, designs and slogans on the Services belong to their respective owners.

Optional Tools

You may be given access to tools offered by third parties as part of the Services, which we do not monitor and over which we have no control.

You acknowledge that we provide access to such tools "as is" and "as available", without any warranties, representations or conditions of any kind and without endorsement. We have no liability arising from or relating to your use of optional third-party tools.

Any use of optional tools offered through our site is entirely at your own risk and discretion. You should make sure you are familiar with and accept the terms on which the relevant third party provides them.

We may, in future, offer new features through the Services, including new tools and resources. Any such new features will also form part of the Services and will be subject to these Terms.

Third-Party Links

The Services may contain materials and hyperlinks to websites operated by third parties, including embedded third-party functionality. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy of any third-party materials or websites that you choose to access. If you leave the Services to access them, you do so at your own risk.

We are not liable for any harm or damage related to your access of third-party websites, or your purchase or use of any products, services, resources or content found there. Please review the relevant third party's policies and practices carefully before engaging in any transaction with them. Complaints, claims, concerns or questions about third-party products and services should be directed to that third party.

Relationship With Shopify

Rural Ranges is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. However, any sales and purchases you make through our store are made directly with Rural Ranges. By using the Services, you acknowledge that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of any sale between you and Rural Ranges, including any injury, damage or loss resulting from purchased products and services. You release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims, damages and liabilities arising from or related to your purchases and transactions with Rural Ranges.

Privacy Policy

All personal information we collect through the Services is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and with UK data protection law, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018. Certain personal information may also be subject to Shopify's own privacy policy, which can be viewed here. By using the Services, you confirm that you have read both of these policies.

Because the Services are hosted by Shopify, Shopify collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services in order to provide and improve them. Information you submit to the Services will be shared with Shopify and may be shared with other third parties, some of whom may be located outside the United Kingdom; where this happens, appropriate safeguards are used to protect your information in line with UK data protection law. Feedback

If you submit, post, email or otherwise send us any ideas, suggestions, feedback, reviews, proposals or plans (collectively, "Feedback"), you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, sublicensable, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute and display that Feedback in any medium and for any purpose, including commercial use. We may use this licence, for example, to operate, provide, evaluate and improve the Services.

You confirm that you own or have all rights necessary to give us this Feedback, that you have disclosed any compensation or incentive you received for providing it and that your Feedback complies with these Terms. We are under no obligation to keep your Feedback confidential, to pay you for it, or to respond to it.

We may, but are not obliged to, monitor, edit or remove Feedback that we reasonably consider to be unlawful, offensive, threatening, defamatory, obscene or otherwise objectionable, or that infringes any party's intellectual property or these Terms.

You agree that your Feedback will not infringe any third-party right, including copyright, trademark or privacy rights and will not contain anything unlawful, abusive or obscene, or any virus or other malicious code. You must not use a false email address, pretend to be someone else, or otherwise mislead us or third parties about the origin of your Feedback. You are solely responsible for any Feedback you provide and for its accuracy; we take no responsibility for Feedback posted by you or any third party.

Errors, Inaccuracies and Omissions

Occasionally, the Services may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, shipping charges, transit times or availability. We reserve the right to correct any such errors and to update information or cancel orders where necessary, including after an order has been submitted, without affecting your statutory rights.

Prohibited Uses

You must not use the Services, directly or indirectly, for any unlawful or malicious purpose; to breach any applicable law or regulation; to infringe our intellectual property rights or those of others; to harass, abuse, defame or harm any of our employees or any other person; to transmit false or misleading information; to send or use material that does not comply with these Terms; to send unsolicited advertising or promotional material, including spam; to impersonate any other person or entity; or to engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's enjoyment of the Services, or that we reasonably consider may harm Rural Ranges, Shopify or other users.

You also agree not to upload or transmit viruses or other malicious code that could affect the functioning of the Services; reproduce, copy, extract or exploit any part of the Services without permission; collect or track other users' personal information; use the Services to spam, phish or pretext others; use any robot, spider, scraping tool, automated process or AI-based tool, including agentic AI, to access the Services without our permission; or interfere with, bypass or circumvent any security or access control measure we use to protect the Services. We may suspend, disable or terminate your account if we reasonably determine that you have broken any part of these Terms.

Agents

Termination

We may end this agreement or your access to the Services, in whole or in part, at our discretion and without notice. You will remain liable for all amounts due up to and including the date of termination.

The following sections continue to apply after termination: Intellectual Property, Feedback, Termination, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnity, Severability, Waiver and Entire Agreement, Assignment, Governing Law, Privacy Policy and any other provision that, by its nature, should continue to apply.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The information presented on or through the Services is provided for general information purposes only. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of this information. Any reliance you place on it is at your own risk. We do not accept responsibility for any reliance placed on such material by you or by any other visitor to the Services.

Except as expressly stated by Rural Ranges, the Services and all products offered through them are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any representation, warranty or condition of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of satisfactory quality or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that your use of the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer under English law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Nothing in this section excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither Rural Ranges nor our partners, directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, service providers or licensors, nor those of Shopify and its affiliates, will be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, special or consequential damages, including loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of savings, loss of data or replacement costs, arising from your use of the Services or any products procured through them, whether based in contract, tort, including negligence, or otherwise.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rural Ranges, Shopify and our respective affiliates, partners, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, licensors and service providers against any losses, damages, liabilities or claims, including reasonable legal costs, arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, or your breach of any law or third-party right.

We will notify you of any claim covered by this indemnity. A delay in doing so will not affect your obligations unless it causes you material prejudice. We may control the defence and settlement of such a claim at your expense, including the choice of legal representation, although we will not settle any claim that imposes a non-monetary obligation on you without your consent, which will not be unreasonably withheld. You agree to cooperate with the defence of any indemnified claim, including by providing relevant documents.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision will still be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by law. The unenforceable part will be treated as removed from these Terms and this will not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.

Waiver and Entire Agreement

If we do not exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms, this will not be treated as a waiver of that right or provision.

These Terms of Service, together with any policies or operating rules we post on this site in respect of the Services, form the entire agreement and understanding between you and us and govern your use of the Services, replacing any prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications or proposals, whether oral or written, including earlier versions of these Terms.

Assignment

You may not transfer or assign this agreement, or any of your rights or obligations under these Terms, without our prior written consent. Any attempt to do so will have no effect. We may transfer, assign or delegate these Terms and our rights and obligations under them without your consent or prior notice.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any separate agreement under which we provide you with Services are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

If you are a consumer living in another part of the United Kingdom or in another country, you may also benefit from any mandatory protections given to you by the law of the country in which you live. Nothing in this section takes those protections away.

We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates to our website. It is your responsibility to check the website periodically for changes. We will notify you of any material change in line with applicable law. Such changes will take effect from the date given in that notice.
