We have put together a space in Bridport, Dorset to show a slice of what we deliver at Rural Ranges. Immerse yourself in our world of Agas and Range Cookers, and discover how your culinary experience can be transformed through a cooker that suits you and your home.
Our showroom on Bridport’s North Mills Trading Estate displays a range of working Agas across the different fuels, including our working Electrickits. We also have some beautiful Lacanche, Bertazzoni, ILVE, Esse and Rangemaster cookers, as well as a dedicated section to Charlie cookers. Book an appointment with us and we will be on hand to start you on your cooker journey and answer any questions you may have. Agas
Whether you’re beginning on your Aga journey or an experienced owner looking for a change, our showroom provides the perfect opportunity to come and experience some of the options open to you. Each cooker is in a different shade with unique finishings, to enable you to see for yourself how versatile in style Agas can really be.
The Aga models currently on show in our Bridport showroom are:
2 oven Electrickit Classic Aga in Rural Green with copper finishes.
3 oven gas Aga in Light Jade with chrome finishes
4 oven Electrickit Advanced Aga in Pearl with Antique brass finishes.
Lacanche
As part of our varied collection, we at Rural Ranges are delighted to offer the world-famous Lacanche ovens. These beautiful cookers are made and designed in Burgundy and come with a 200 year reputation for excellence. Most excitingly, Lacanche offers you an opportunity to design your cooker to order, so you can choose a style, hob and oven configuration that is right for you. By booking an appointment with us in our Dorset showroom, we can talk you through the process of building your Lacanche, and you can have a chance to examine our own model; a classic Citeaux.
The Citeaux is one of Lacanche’s most popular cookers and has a width of 1505mm, meaning it is large enough for two integrated hob options. This model is in Frangipane, one of the 29 shades of Lacanche enamel.
Bertazzoni Cookers
Rural Ranges are also delighted to display Bertazonni cookers, a striking Italian brand offering the showstopping design and outstanding engineering its home of Emilia-Romagna is known for. Booking an appointment to our showroom will give you the opportunity to see our Bertazzoni models on display and begin the process of choosing your own.
Our showroom also displays two stunning models from the Professional series, a contemporary, clean-lined range that celebrates all things modern. The 60cm model pictured has a fast-heating induction hob and is coloured in Giallo, a striking and durable yellow automotive paint.
This 120cm is our showroom’s second Professional Bertazzoni. It is a 120cm model with an induction hob and plancha, finished in Stainless Steel.
ILVE
ILVE cookers offer the exciting opportunity to completely put your own stamp on the design of your cooker. We thoroughly enjoyed choosing exactly how we wanted our showroom model to look; we chose a customised 100cm Milano, with flat doors in a custom RAL shade and bronze finishes. The 100cm model has two electric ovens; the one on the left is a 57l with a rotisserie setting, and the right is 65l. The gas hob is also equipped with a plancha, perfect for griddling.
Rangemaster
We have two Rangemasters on display in our showroom. On the left is our 90cm Edge Deluxe model in Black Glass with a chrome trim. There’s an LED touch display, round control knobs, and straight-edged handles to maintain the contemporary look. This model has a 5 zoned induction hob, a grill, a multifunction oven and a tall fan oven.
On the right is our 110 Elise Luxe model. The Elise Luxe is an exclusive showroom design and can only be purchased through displaying retailers, making this a truly standout model. Our chosen design has ornate star shaped controls, reminiscent of traditional French cookers, and this luxe version has antique brass edges to the handles. While you will have a choice between 10 different colours, we have gone with a stainless steel finish for our model, lending a classy sheen to proceedings.
Esse
Our ESSE section has 3 models on display. We have a 1000X Pro electric range cooker, a 1000w wood fired range cooker, and a garden stove with a pizza oven, so whether you’re going electric or wood fired, you will have a chance to see exactly what your cooker will entail. Our electric range cooker is coloured in Shadow, a deep, rich blue colour that compliments both contemporary and traditional kitchen styles. This model runs off two 13amp plugs and has a control panel which allows you to independently adjust each oven. On the right is our Black 1000 W wood burner, which uses fire to heat the ovens and hob. This model needs a flue, so during our discussions we can advise you on what works best for your home. Finally, our showroom has a wood burning garden stove with a pizza oven. This can move around your outside space and create both a cosy area for garden evenings and an opportunity to cook alfresco.
Charlie Ovens
A section of our showroom is dedicated to the alfresco cooks among you, with two models from the beautiful Charlie oven. On the left is a Charlie Charcoal oven in Saffron. Exceptionally easy to use, this gorgeous oven is simply controlled by opening and closing the vents, choosing the rack height to suit your oven, and adding charcoal and wood for smokier flavours. On the right is a manoeuvrable and multi-functional Charlie kitchen island in Aubergine, a the perfect tool to turn your outdoor space into a useable kitchen in one easy step.
Cookshop
Our showroom is also home to our cookshop.
We have put together a selection of our favourite products from our online store. Pop in without appointment to browse our day-to-day cooking essentials, gifts and homeware as well as bespoke textiles exclusively designed for Rural Ranges by local illustrator Delphine Jones.
