With 9 adjustable rack levels, these ovens have excellent versatility and are therefore perfect for all sorts of cooking, whether it be slow roasting joints of meat, baking bread and pizzas or smoking fish.

Built to Cook Year-Round

Not only is Charlie perfect for those warm summer evenings, but the oven can be used all year round, whatever the weather. With its heavy duty, weather-resistant design, it is able to be used come rain or shine. The front opening door means that unlike conventional BBQs or other outdoor ovens, heat loss is minimised, and food is protected from adverse weather. Handmade in Britain, Charlie is built to last, and designed to withstand our unpredictable climate.

Versatile Cooking with Multi-Level Racks

The 9 rack options mean Charlie is perfect for a huge range of cooking styles and has the capacity for a large amount of food. The multi-height cooking allows you to choose how close you want your food to be to the charcoal. The lowest level is perfect for searing with flame, while other levels will allow you to roast, bake, grill, or slow cook.

Adding a touch of wood to the charcoal adds a perfect smoky flavour. All of this is done with minimal effort, and with two and a half times the capacity of a normal oven, a whole delicious feast can be prepared at once.

Simple to Use, Low Maintenance

Charlie is easy to light and operate and is incredibly low maintenance. A simple pyramid of charcoal with the aid of firelighters and two open vents will have Charlie ready to cook within 15 to 20 minutes.

There are no fiddly controls; access to the racks and charcoal is all you need to adjust the temperature and style of your cooking. The more air coming through the vents, the hotter the charcoal. It's as simple as that!

The ash falls into the ash drawer, which can then be pulled out and disposed of, which means Charlie is easy to clean and ready for your next cook.

Energy Efficient and Safe

It's surprisingly fuel efficient, using 45% less charcoal than an open grill, and utilising the thermal mass of its steel to cool the food. The heavy duty steel and front opening door means there is minimal heat loss, so even if cooking at high temperatures, the outside of the oven is safe to touch.

Food is cooked from every direction at a consistent temperature, with the smouldering charcoal sealing in flavour and texture.
