The Egg's ceramic plate allows for indirect as well as direct cooking, deflecting the heat around the dome, while the Eggspander system utalises the different levels your Egg has to offer.
Big Green Egg sees charcoal as an ingredient in its own right. As such, their charcoal is truly special. Each hardwood bag comes with its own unique flavour, adding subtle maple or oak and hickory notes to your food. It is free from accelerants and completely clean, meaning you can cook directly onto the coal.
The clean charcoal, ceramic shell and patented air flow system means that your Egg can be ready to cook in just 15 minutes. It has accurate and easy to operate temperature control, allowing you to slow cook meats over hours or sear steaks at high temperatures.

The ConvEGGtor carries a three year warranty, and the remaining metal components carry a five year warranty. Wooden tables and shelves have a one year warranty.
