The Charlie Oven:

What makes the Charlie Oven a fantastic choice for outdoor cooking?

features which makes the Charlie such a fantastic choice for outdoor cooking:

  • It's simple to set up and use: add a 'half a football' amount of charcoal, light and close the doors. Once you are 10 degrees off your chosen temperature simply push in the valves leaving a 'knuckles' width gap for airflow - it's as simple as that
  • Holds temperature really well - made from solid steel with excellent insulation which retains the heat for rounded, even cooking
  • Huge temperature range - cook from as low as 100 degrees up to 400 degrees, the temperature range allows huge versatility in your cooking from smoking, baking, grilling to pizzas, you can cook anything in a Charlie
  • 9 shelf heights for full flexibility and capacity - cook with direct heat over the coals or opt for a longer cook up high, as well as cooking multiple things at one time.
  • Powder coated solid steel construction - it is designed to withstand the Great British weather! You can leave it outside all year round
  • Designed for hands off cooking - you can shut the door and walk away as you would when cooking in a normal oven.
  • An all-in-one cooker - no need for multiple appliances, one oven does everything

Join us for a traditional Aga, Festive Feast cooking demonstration with the Cast Iron Lady Sarah Whitaker.

Enjoy a cooking demonstration packed with useful Aga cooking tips and techniques as well as delicious festive recipe ideas and tasty treats, whipped up by experienced cook and Aga demonstrator, Sarah Whitaker.

About Aga:

Swedish by design, the Aga cast iron cooker has been synnoymous with British country living for more than 100 years. Popular in farmhouses and country cottages, their charm and appeal extends to modern kitchens and living spaces, with many cherishing the convenience of an 'always on' cooker, that is so much more than just an oven.

Features also include cast iron hot plates which are perfect for searing, toasting and grilling.

This Aga demonstration will share lots of the popular cooking methods, tips and tricks to get the best out of your Aga.
