Gas Agas

Natural gas remains the lowest-cost fuel option for a Traditional “always on” gas Aga cooker.

If constant room heat, instant cooking readiness, and simplicity are high on your agenda, a natural gas Aga oven from Rural Ranges (Dorset based, covering England, Wales and internationally), may well be worth consideration. With 2, 3, or 4 oven models and 3 flue options - traditional/conventional flue, balanced flue, or power flue, there is likely to be a solution to fit your circumstances.

We will visit your property or request extensive photos of your proposed site to assess the best fit for your circumstances and to ensure that the installation, including the flue, will meet current regulations.

We will ensure you are fully prepared for installation, providing documentation and being fully available to answer your queries.

Our gas Aga-trained engineers are Gas Safe and able to fully install your gas Aga oven, including running gas line and flue works by arrangement.

We hold a full range of stock ready to be fully transformed to your specifications. As with all our Agas, your gas Aga oven will feature the latest burner and systems, be fully re-enameled to a color of your choice, and be renovated to “as new” condition.

Advantages of Gas Aga cookers

  • Cheapest “Traditional” Aga to run (Natural gas)
  • A “clean” Aga - no smells
  • Responds to temperature loss well, rapidly regaining heat
  • Reliable
  • No programming required, always there and ready to go!
  • Low parts prices
  • Best suited where all year round heat is required
  • 5 year parts warranty with Premium, 1 year labour warranty

Disadvantages of Gas Aga cookers

  • LPG most expensive Aga to run
  • Flue and gas line required
  • Annual servicing required for safety and smooth operation
  • Constant room heat suited to some homes more than others
  • Limited controllability
  • Running costs governed by fluctuating gas prices - not future proof
  • Less environmentally desirable
  • Can be dangerous if not properly maintained

Our reconditioned Aga cookers are available in 2 collections. Our cost effective Rural Ranges line and our prestige Rural Ranges – Premium portfolio.
