Christmas Breakfast Muffins

The ultimate Christmas muffins are perfect for festive breakfasts or Boxing Day brunches; an easy, no-fuss scrumptious treat in between all the feasting. Simply place Bake-o-glide on your simmering plate and let your Aga do all the work.

Ingredients

  • Sausage Meat

  • Shallots

  • Sage and Thyme

  • Bacon

  • Brie

  • Cranberry Sauce

Instructions

  • Chop your shallots and fry until translucent.

  • Mix your shallots into your sausage meat with a handful of sage and thyme. Mix well and season.

  • Share your mixture into equal balls and then flatten into patties.

  • Fry on your bake-o-glide for a few minutes on each side until browned and cooked in the middle. With bake-o-glide, there’s no need for added butter or oil.

  • Fry your bacon until crispy.

  • Toast your muffins until golden, using a toasting rack to save from burnt figures.

  • Pile your muffins with your patties, bacon, brie (you can melt this a little first if desired) and generous helpings of sweet cranberry. Then voila! Christmas decadence at it’s finest.

If you fancy mixing it up, swap the bacon out for poached eggs and black pudding for extra indulgence.
