The Electrickit is a sophisticated conversion which re engineers the Aga to a fully controllable, flexible Aga with all the solidity and longevity of a traditional Aga.
The Classic edition of Electrickit has been hugely successful ever since its launch in 2023, and we've seen many of our customers choose to take the leap. Features
- Running costs as low as £11.42 per week for 2 oven (at 26.32p kwh October 2026 price cap - please consider current electricity pricing when calculating likely usage). For a full rundown of costs click here. As with any Aga, running costs are very much a guide and actual costs will be entirely dependent on use.
- Hotplates and ovens independently operated.
- Hobs have 8 temperature settings and are both independent.
- Full temperature control of hotplates. Although usually kept off and turned on only for use, hotplates may be left on at up to half heat continually, for example to simmer a kettle, if preferred - this is not possible with Total or Dual Control Agas which have only one temperature control setting.
- Top oven (Roasting oven) operates between 120C- 280C.
- Bottom oven (2 oven models) runs at 65-70◦c below top oven with full temperature control. Additional element, allows temperatures up to full roasting when extra control knob is engaged..
- Ovens at 180° in 48 minutes from cold. Hot plates at full heat in 18 minutes from cold.
- Hot cupboard side (4 oven models only) independently operable, with 8 settings.
- Superior blanket insulation.
- A multiple element conversion, putting less strain on components and vastly improving efficiency.

Disadvantages of ElectricKit Classic Agas
- For maximum efficiency, we recommend turning on the hotplates only for use.
- Hotplate heat up times slightly slower than Control Series Agas - 18 minutes to full from cold
- Bottom of RO hotter than a traditional Aga. Whilst this makes an excellent additional hot plate, it means SOME traditional techniques should be adjusted accordingly.
- Less room heat than a conventional Aga - think of an Electrickit Aga as a radiator rather than a roaring fire!
- Oven heat up times must be taken into account if using very flexibly.
- Venting can be compromised versus gas or oil - electric Agas are more likely to suffer moisture build up.
- Vent fans costly where extended venting is required (we will discuss all venting options to help you find the right fit).

Prices include installation within 3 hours driving distance (according to AA Route Planner). Beyond this area, a small distance surcharge may apply. All prices include VAT. All conversions include 1 year labour warranty and 5 years part warranty.
